TOG_OS is a multi-tenant business operating system and social publishing platform available at https://togos.pro. Organizations use it to manage their work and to publish content to the social channels they own. The Reddit integration lets you publish to Reddit from your own Reddit account, without TOG_OS ever asking for your password.
What the integration is
Reddit is a connected publishing channel inside TOG_OS. You link your own Reddit account once, and after that you can compose, schedule and publish Reddit posts alongside your other channels. TOG_OS acts on behalf of the account you connect, using the permissions you grant.
How you connect Reddit
Connecting uses Reddit OAuth 2.0, Reddit's official authorization process for third-party applications:
- In your TOG_OS workspace you choose Connect Reddit.
- TOG_OS redirects you to Reddit's own authorization page at reddit.com, where you sign in to Reddit and review the permissions being requested.
- Reddit redirects you back to TOG_OS with an authorization code.
- TOG_OS exchanges that code for an access token and stores it encrypted at rest. Your Reddit credentials are never shared with TOG_OS.
What the integration does
- Reads the identity of the Reddit account you authorized, so posts are correctly attributed to you.
- Creates self (text) and link posts in subreddits where your account has permission to post.
- Deletes a post it created and checks the status of a published post.
- Uses the minimal OAuth 2.0 scopes
identity,submitandread. - Publishes only posts you initiate or schedule, optionally passing through your workspace's approval workflow before anything goes live.
What the integration does not do
- It does not scrape Reddit or use unofficial endpoints.
- It does not vote, manipulate karma, or engage in ban evasion.
- It does not create Reddit accounts.
- It does not sell, license or redistribute Reddit data to anyone.
- It does not use Reddit data to train AI or ML models.
- It does not post anywhere your account is not permitted to post, and it does not act beyond the scopes you grant.
Compliance
The integration uses Reddit OAuth 2.0 and the official Reddit Data API, and is designed to comply with the Reddit Developer Terms, the Reddit Data API Terms and the Reddit Responsible Builder Policy. Requests respect Reddit's rate limits, and you can revoke access at any time from TOG_OS or from the connected-applications page of your Reddit account.
Data & security
Reddit access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and are never exposed to the browser. You can disconnect Reddit at any time from your workspace, which removes the stored connection.
